Zephyr was born in Beijing, P.R.China. She has a very strong cultural tie to Eastern, in constant contact with her family in the area.
Zephyr started her first ballet class at the age of 5, and continued with a variety of other dance and movement classes throughout her school years; Chinese classical, jazz, modern, various folk and ethnic dance classes, gymnastics and drama. As Zephyr developed as a dancer she has gone on to more challenging and rewarding forms of dance, always craving to learn more. Zephyr's largest influences by far have come from Chinese ethnic (which she has taken for the longest period of time) and from contemporary (which she has been consistently involved with since 2005). Zephyr has been a dancer in UK since 2005, organizing the RedFan Chinese dance society in Manchester.
In her working time Zephyr is an Architect.
